AI can help you create faster but it shouldn’t make your business look like everyone else.
AI has made it easier than ever to create content, graphics, posters, logos and social media posts.
But there’s a downside.
Everything is starting to look the same.
The same captions. The same stock graphics and fonts. The same layouts. The same ‘predictable’ (and I put it in “‘s – not AI) wording. The same logo styles. The same ideas being recycled by thousands of businesses at once. Just open Facebook and you will see what I mean.
And when everyone looks the same, nobody stands out.
One of the biggest selling points any business, charity or personal brand has is what makes it different from its competitors. It’s called our unique selling proposition (USP) . It is what we do differently to other businesses and it’s the thing that you should focus on more in your marketing.
Use AI to brainstorm, improve ideas, sharpen copy or speed up production. But don’t simply accept the first piece of content, graphic, poster or logo it creates and assume the job is done.
Think about your personality. Your story. Your humour. Your way of doing things and what you do differently. AI should help bring those things to life not replace them.
Ask yourself:
Could this content belong to any business? If the answer is yes, it probably needs more of you in it.
Your competitors can access the same AI tools. They can’t access your personality, your experience or your point of view.
Use AI as a tool.
Just don’t let it turn your brand into another AI sheep.
