The team at Taste My Bean in Hillcrest, winner of ‘Best Coffee in Logan City’
My News Feed and The Breeze 92.1 are teaming up to find the very Best in Logan City. From the Best Servo to the Best Playground, they are on the hunt and asking locals who is the Best in Logan?
The community is responding exceptionally well, with nominations flooding in as voting kicked off for Logan City’s Best Coffee. Winner Taste My Bean in Hillcrest were over the moon about the win.
“We were blown away by the response from our customers,” Operations Manager of Taste My Bean cafe Bronte Kerr said of the nominations. “We really feel like we’ve made an impression on the Logan community.”
MyNewsFeed Journalist Madeline Grace said the Best of Logan Series is a great way to highlight local business owners who are doing their best and impressing locals, especially after tough times for Logan City’s economy with the Covid-19 pandemic.
“I’m out and about in Logan City just about every weekday reporting on local news, and while doing that have met lots of business owners and bought my fair share of coffees and take away feeds,” Miss Grace said. “So to be able to give local businesses a shoutout on our free local Logan City news site is something we can do to show we care about supporting locals.”
General Manager of Logan’s Breeze 92.1 FM Cheryl Jowitt said it’s important that we highlight those businesses that are doing great things in our city.
“Many of us support our local community, but are unaware of what other businesses in other areas of the city are doing,” Ms Jowitt said. “We don’t have to travel outside Logan to find great businesses.
“It’s been a great privilege to work with the team at My News Feed Logan to promote the ‘Best of Logan’ series and help create greater awareness of what is available in our backyard.”
