Ash Palmero
Ash started his on air career with Rebel FM over 20 years ago and spent the first 18 years hosting the hugely successful weekday breakfast show with a succession of hosts.
He’s back now working alongside Jake Chapman with the Ash and Jake show on Saturday and Sunday mornings.
Championing Mental Health Awareness
Ash has used his position on air to champion the awareness of men’s health issues and mental illness and this has led to Rebel FM’s association with Movember annually.
Ash’s love of motorcycles was the inspiration behind the Moustache Ride and now include that and the Steel Horse Ride annual as two of his biggest projects. His work with the “Moustache Ride” each November has raised over $50,000.
Bucket List
Travel has always been on Ash’s bucket list and has spent a lot of time overseas. While Europe and Asia is high on his list of favourite places, Ash reckons there’s nothing better than a good cruise!
Family Man
As a father of two adult children and step dad to two others, Ash is happily married to Silverbell who is his rock in life.
