Leigh Corbett
Leigh has an avid love for motorbike riding, and she recalls two of her most memorable experiences as riding on a Harley with her husband Jeff from Las Vegas to Salt Lake City in the United States and embarking on a month-long tour around Tasmania.
Their weekends are usually occupied by motorcycle excursions or lending their support to local charities through fundraising rides.
Leigh and husband are active members of a group called Mild Hogs, a name chosen with a touch of humour, acknowledging that they might be too seasoned to be considered wild riders.
Nevertheless, this group makes substantial contributions to charitable causes, particularly through their flagship event, The Distinguished Gentleman’s Ride, which directs its proceeds towards Movember.
Leigh is known to be a very private person, and isn’t an active user of social media. However, she is deeply dedicated to local groups and supporting businesses within her community in Stanthorpe on Queensland’s Darling Downs.
While her early career was spent in the banking and finance industry, her life took an exciting turn when she joined Rebel, where her professional life became significantly more enjoyable. She believes she has a dream job, and what she enjoys most is engaging with people and attentively listening to their stories.
However, on the flip side, she possesses a strong competitive streak and exhibits a touch of perfectionism – qualities we regard as positive attributes.
Leigh works with Craig Egan to support local businesses on the Goondiwindi, Darling Downs, Tenterfield and Gloucester in New South Wales
