Brief
Your Pharmacy Chinchilla sought to elevate its local presence and better connect with its community through updated marketing materials. The project focused on designing in-store posters and accompanying social media tiles to promote key pharmacy services. The core objective was to create visually appealing and informative collateral that would drive in-store engagement and expand their digital reach, all while reflecting a modern, approachable brand identity.
Campaign Objectives
The campaign aimed to position Your Pharmacy Chinchilla as a friendly, reliable, and essential health hub. Specifically, the objectives were to:
- Increase awareness and utilisation of various pharmacy services, from health checks to medication advice.
- Enhance in-store engagement by providing clear, attractive, and accessible information.
- Expand digital reach and consistency through tailored social media content.
- Establish a consistent brand identity that was both professional and approachable, aligning with their community-focused mission.
Insights and Solutions
Our approach was divided into two strategic phases, adapting to the client’s evolving brand journey:
Phase 1: Initial Service-Based Designs
The initial scope involved creating 6 A3 posters and corresponding social media images for critical services like blood pressure checks, asthma advice, medication reviews, medication packing (with a unique focus on truck drivers), sleep apnoea testing, and vaccinations. The primary call to action for these materials was “see in store” or “ask us about.”
A key insight was the client’s preference for a conversational and lighthearted tone, referencing a previously well-received allergy poster’s graphic style. We adhered to their existing blue and orange branding tones and meticulously sourced or created appropriately toned stock imagery to convey approachability and trustworthiness. The deliverables included print-ready files for all posters and social media-optimised versions.
Phase 2: Rebranding and Campaign Expansion
Mid-project, the design work was paused to accommodate Your Pharmacy’s logo update. Upon the completion of their new branding, we seamlessly resumed the project, ensuring all new materials adhered to the updated look. This included incorporating the new “cute,” simple green stencil images from their refreshed website, which resonated with the desired lighthearted aesthetic.
Again, print-ready files and social media tiles were provided.
