Mornings on The Breeze just got a whole lot brighter as Jess Harris moves from Drive to Breakfast
Mornings just got a whole lot brighter for Breeze listeners, as they wake up to Brekky With Jess on The Breeze each weekday.
Popular afternoon drive radio host Jess Harris is overjoyed to step into her new role as Breakfast Show host on The Breeze.
“I’ve been driving our Breeze listeners home for over two years now, and I can’t wait to now be waking up with them and starting their day with some great music and a smile,” Jess says.
“I love music, and there is no better music than what you hear on The Breeze, so I am very excited to be able to bring that joy to our listeners.”
Group General Manager Cheryl Jowitt says when the Breakfast time slot came up it was an easy move for Breeze Drive Announcer Jess Harris to move to the newly vacated Breakfast show.
“Jess has been an amazing part of our team for over 17 years and started with the station as a receptionist. We’ve watched her grow up, get married and she is the proud mum of 4 beautiful children. Her girl next door appeal makes her popular with our Breeze audience,” Ms Jowitt says.
“She is a natural on air and when the opportunity came up for her to take on the Breeze flagship shift she jumped at the chance. She identifies with our Breeze audience and is a big fan of music from the 80’s right through to today’s biggest hits.
“Jess will be an active part of the Gold Coast and Logan community, and also a voice across our regional stations in Queensland and New South Wales.”
