Trade Tools Mental Health BBQ Activation
Run Dates: October 5 – October 30, 2025
Radio Station: Rebel FM Gold Coast & Rebel FM Logan
Tagline: Trade Tools – Our Everyday Prices Are What The Others Call A Sale!
Campaign Overview
Throughout October, Rebel FM rolled out the Trade Tools Mental Health BBQ Activation to support Mental Health Month, encouraging tradies and locals to take a break, connect, and check in with one another. Using our brand-new BBQ trailer, the Rebel Barbi-Crew visited four Trade Tools locations across the Gold Coast and Logan, serving fresh steak sandwiches, sharing laughs, and promoting conversations around mental health and wellbeing.
This community-focused campaign was made truly special thanks to The Meat Hub, who generously supplied all the meat for every single BBQ event at no cost. Their support ensured we could feed and connect with tradies and customers while keeping the heart of the campaign community-driven and inclusive. Their contribution had a direct impact on the success of the activation and the positive atmosphere at each event.
Event Locations:
- October 9: Trade Tools Labrador
- October 16: Trade Tools Springwood
- October 23: Trade Tools Ormeau
- October 30: Trade Tools Browns Plains
Each event catered for approximately 50 steak sandwiches, attracting tradies, shoppers, and community members who gathered for a good feed and a meaningful chat.
