Rebel Agency starts work on Logan’s first Food Trails

Rebel Agency has begun work on their own South East Queensland Food Trails, a journey which will explore popular eateries within the Logan City area.

Poppy’s Chocolate in Beenleigh, Extraction Artisan Coffee at Slacks Creek, and Contemporary Cakes based
out of Daisy Hill are all part of the Food Trails tour.

Executive Account Manager Joel Hall from Rebel Connect, is organising the trail alongside council and
advisories. He has also been lucky enough to taste the culinary delights offered from each local business
during his video interviews.

“The purpose of these videos is to shine a light on the amazing food industry across Logan City and how the
SEQ Food Trails website can help people navigate this ever expanding industry sector,” Mr Hall said. “I am so
honoured to be working in partnership with the South East Queensland Council of Mayors and Logan City
Council to make this project a success.”

Mr Hall, who is the chair of the Logan Tourism Advisory Group, says he wanted to promote the wonderful
businesses within Logan’s food industry, which is how the SEQ Food Trails idea began.

“We are looking to highlight some of the real stars we have right here in the city of Logan, like Alex and the
team at Extraction Coffee, Jimboomba House which has some of the best food in South East Queensland, and
The Global Food Market which is a celebration of over 200 different cultures that we have in the city of Logan,”
he said.

“We hope to continue to work with the Logan Council, and other councils who are part of the SEQ Council of
Mayors, to promote their food sectors.”

Logan City has over 326,000 residents from 217 different nationalities, making it one of Queensland’s most
diverse cities.
